SENIOR CPA TAX & ACCOUNTING MANAGER

About Chan CPA & Company, Inc:

Chan CPA & Company Inc. has been in business for over 25 years. Both our CEO & Sr. Tax Director have high level knowledge and experience in both domestic & international taxation and are both CPAs from Big 3 Tax Firms.

We are looking for someone to join our team who is ready to step into a full-time role to provide on-site tax assistance to our local tax and accounting firm located in Campbell, California. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax/Accounting

• 5+ years preparing tax returns (domestic and international)

• California current CPA license

• 5+ years public accounting   

Our clients range from long established to multi-generational families to young tech entrepreneurs. Chan CPA specializes in tax preparation, tax planning, tax strategy for individuals, various entities, and trusts. We also focus on real estate & estate tax planning with our clients and work closely with financial planners.

*Full-time  Salary Competitive: commensurate with experience

Manager Responsibilities:

• Assist in Reviewing Various types of returns (1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 706, 709 and 990)    

• Utilize tax-related software to prepare & review returns

• Review business property tax, sales tax, payroll, Form 1099/1096 and other compliance returns

• Consultation & Interview Process for clients

• Preparation & Review of Tax Projections of individuals, trusts & entities throughout the year

• Tax Research & advise on complex tax solutions for clients (including entity, trusts & multi-generational individuals)

• Prepare & review complex individual, entity & trust tax returns for technical accuracy and tax savings opportunities

• Respond & represent for IRS/FTB audits

• Manage, teach, mentor our staff, oversee tax and accounting teams

• Strong written & verbal communicator
